Students Summit


About Event                           

In this era of modern information and technology, not only urban area but also rural area have adapted new developments and the trends . In the modern world, superior technologies, resources, geography, and history give rise to robust economies and in a well-functioning, robust economy, economic excess naturally flows into greater use of technology. Moreover technology is such an inseparable part of human society. However, while in the beginning, technological investment involved little more than the time, efforts, and skills of one or a few men, today, such investment may involve the collective labor and skills of many millions.


About the institute

The Pravara Rural Education Society was establish in July 1964 by the Herculean efforts of  Padmashree Dr.Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil ,a unique visionary, philanthropist & pioneer of first cooperative sugar factory in cooperative sector not only in India but Asia. The object behind the inspection was to avail the technical education in rural area at affordable cost. Sir Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology college is establish in 1998-99. It offers under graduate engineering course in Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, E&TC Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, IT Engineering, PG course offers Mechanical Engineering in design & MBA. It symbolize the ascendance of academic excellence , quality Education from preprimary to research level at various branches of society at Loni as well as Sinnar.
 Hon’ble Khasdar Shri Balasaheb Vikhe Patil . An outstanding leader in every walk of the Maharashtra & a Member of Parliament for over three decades , embarked upon the arduous task of translating the dreams of Padmashree  into concrete realities by meticulous planning . The institute thus fortunately blessed by the dynamic and pragmatic leadership of Hon’ble Shri Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, Minister for  Agriculture And Water conservation, government of Maharashtra and Hon’ble Shri Rajendra  Vikhe Patil to equip it with infrastructure and modern facilities.

RULES FOR CONTEST

1) The contest is open for the students of engineering and polytechnic colleges, conducting undergraduate, Postgraduate courses.

2) The students will have to work in groups of two or three.

3) The group will have to select one of the following topics for presentation or demonstration.

4) The group will give presentation for about one hour duration to students of Eighth to Tenth Standards in one school located in urban area and one school located in rural area.

5) The group has to choose the High Schools themselves. The students can prepare and use simple presentation aids such as models, charts, etc.

6) Entry fee for each group is Rs. 150.

7) After presentation, each group will have to submit feedback forms duly filled and signed by the Head Master/Principal of the school in sealed envelope to Contest Co-coordinator.

8) Along the sealed envelopes, they have to submit hard copy of the report containing presentation report, summary of question answers etc.

9) Groups invited for presentation to SVIT Nashik, college campus on 12th & 13th March of 2013 & 8+2 mins will be allowed for final presentation to each group.


10) College Bus facility will be provided for the final presentation at S.V.I.T. Nashik only.

    that too in full details in simple terms
    then on 12th or 13th u will get a chance to present in the collage in front of the judges and then the combined eforts will be seen and the winners will be declared ....
    this is sum what like a teach India moment
